NAWDP is now accepting applications for the 2027 New Professionals Cohort in Workforce Development, a 12-month program designed to support and advance early-career workforce professionals.

The 2027 cohort will run from January – December of 2027 and offers:

  • Monthly Engagements: Professional development, virtual networking events, guest speakers, mentorship opportunities, and skill-building sessions
  • Capstone Project: Design a mini workforce initiative with real-world impact
  • Recognition: Upon completion, receive a Certificate of Completion, access to an extended peer network, an assigned industry mentor, and a resource toolkit

The program is open to workforce development professionals who are new or transitioning to the field less than 3 years of experience. NAWDP membership is required and the cost is $500 for the full year.

If you supervise someone in their first few years of the field, know a peer who’s been struggling to find their footing, or if you came up in the field wishing something like this existed, this is your chance to share it.

Applications are open now and close August 31. Space is limited. Apply today!
