Our Publications

Three Ways to Appear in the Newsletter
Each newsletter issue offers three ad formats. All are sold per issue. You select the publication, the format, and the date, and we confirm availability.

Sponsored Content
What is sponsored content?
Sponsored content gives advertisers the opportunity to share thought leadership or longer-format text advertising in the newsletter. It is placed as the third article in the issue and is clearly labeled “Sponsored Content.” This is an effective way to drive traffic to your website for the full piece.
Examples of strong sponsored content: case studies, original research, industry news or trends, insights relevant to the workforce development community.
- Submit the URL of the full article on your website
- Provide a title (for the newsletter heading)
- Provide your organization name as the source
- Write an excerpt of no more than 150 words — this is what appears in the newsletter
Payment, cancellation, and content policies
Content Guidelines: NAWDP reserves the right to determine the acceptability of all submitted advertisements. Advertised products and services must be of professional or educational interest to, or beneficial for, NAWDP members, and must be related to the field of workforce development in NAWDP’s judgment. NAWDP reserves the right to reject or discontinue any advertising at its discretion.
Payment: Payment is due at the submission deadline for the issue in which the ad is placed. Your placement is not confirmed until payment is received.
Cancellations: Notice of cancellation must be made in writing and sent to amanda@nawdp.org at least seven (7) business days before the ad is published for a 50% refund, minus a $25 processing fee. Cancellations made after that window will not receive a refund. No refunds will be issued for advertisements that have already run.

Website Advertising FAQs
Yes, you can run ads in both Workforce Weekly and NAWDP Advantage simultaneously. Many advertisers do this to maximize combined reach across the full NAWDP audience. Each placement is purchased and priced separately per issue.
Yes. Each issue is purchased separately, and you can submit the same ad creative for multiple issues. Just confirm your preferred dates when you reach out, and we’ll let you know availability for each one.
We recommend reaching out as early as possible to secure your preferred issue date, especially for Workforce Weekly which runs every week. Payment and ad materials are due by the submission deadline for each issue — contact us and we’ll share the deadline for your target date.
Banner ads are full-width (650×150px) and have high visual impact — they span the full width of the newsletter. Square ads (250×250px) are more compact and are often used for logo-forward or call-to-action creative. Both are .PNG format with a max file size of 5MB and require a destination URL.
The most effective sponsored content is genuinely useful to workforce development professionals — original research, case studies, how-to resources, or insights relevant to the field. Promotional content that reads like an advertisement tends to underperform. The excerpt (up to 150 words) should be compelling enough to drive clicks to your full article. Content is clearly labeled “Sponsored Content” in the newsletter.
Cancellations must be submitted in writing to amanda@nawdp.org at least 7 business days before the publication date to receive a 50% refund, minus a $25 processing fee. Cancellations after that window receive no refund, and no refunds are issued for ads that have already run. We recommend confirming your date and having materials ready before submitting payment.
