Part 1 of the POWER HOUR focuses on CLEAR, the Clearinghouse for Labor Evaluation and Research, a not-so-well-known clearinghouse of information dedicated to making research on labor topics more accessible – to not just policymakers and researchers – but to practitioners and the public as well! Presenters demonstrated how to easily navigate the public site and dig into hot topics like Registered Apprenticeship!
Part 2 of the POWER HOUR focuses on the E2A or Evidence to Action initiative, which is all about translating research evidence into actionable insights (otherwise, why do it?) and developing E2A products such as evidence “cheat sheets” to help inform program design and delivery. Presenters highlight the new E2A Toolkit, designed for multiple audiences including workforce development practitioners, who will find the tips on communicating (e.g., “writing for impact”) and presenting information (e.g., infographics) to be incredibly useful!
