Susan Oney

Susan Oney is an experienced workforce development leader and consultant with more than 15 years of experience supporting career pathways, apprenticeship, compliance, and workforce program strategy across multiple states. Through her consulting work, she assists workforce and community partners with registered apprenticeship development, ETPL strategy, healthcare workforce partnerships, program design, and compliance-focused solutions.
Susan has held senior leadership roles overseeing multi-state workforce programs, federal grants, performance outcomes, and services for job seekers, employers, and community partners. She is a Certified Workforce Development Professional and holds a Master of Education in Adult Training and Development and Project Management.
Recently appointed to the NAWDP Board as the State Director for North Carolina, Susan is honored to support the workforce development profession and contribute to efforts that expand access to quality training, strengthen partnerships, and connect individuals, employers, and communities to long-term economic opportunity.
