Solissa Franco McKay

Solissa Franco-McKay is a nonprofit leader who currently serves as the Executive Director of Real World Initiatives (ProX), an operating program and affiliate of the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation. As Executive Director, she serves as the chief administrator, providing leadership and implementing policies and programs to ensure the Real World Initiative (RWI) affiliate programs are creating learning opportunities for students through connections with local businesses, in alignment with the Kauffman Foundation’s vision and strategic priorities.

With over 15 years of experience in education and workforce development, Solissa is deeply committed to expanding access and opportunity for historically marginalized communities. Her leadership is informed by her lived experience as a first-generation college graduate and multiracial Latina woman, and she brings a values-driven, equity-centered approach to systems change.
