Ruth Whitis

Ruth Whitis serves as the Central Illinois Regional Workforce Manager for the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity’s Office of Employment and Training. With seven years of workforce development experience and more than 12 years in regional sales leadership, she works with and supports local workforce boards while

collaborating with employers, education, and community partners to connect individuals with career opportunities and help businesses meet their workforce needs. She is passionate about fostering collaboration that creates practical workforce solutions and strengthens regional partnerships.
