Rachel Ticas is the Experiential Learning Coordinator at the Career Empowerment Center (CEC) at CSU East Bay, where she leads the design and implementation of student-facing career readiness programming through the Pioneer Career Accelerator. She serves as the primary Case Manager for all program participants and plays an active role in employer relations, helping bridge connections between students and local, sector-specific partners. Rachel earned her Bachelor of Music (BM) in Music Therapy, with a minor in Psychology. She brings a student-centered lens to her work, grounded in both her academic training and professional background in administrative support and youth programming. She is passionate about expanding equitable, accessible career opportunities for all students—particularly those navigating nontraditional paths. Known for her resourceful and relational approach, Rachel is committed to helping students translate their lived experiences into real-world impact.
