Naomi Sutton

Naomi Sutton is an apprenticeship workforce consultant with the Office of Employer & Apprenticeship Services at the Kentucky Career Center. She moved to Kentucky from Chicagoland in 1997 with her husband and son. Naomi earned an Associate of Criminal Justicefrom William Rainey Harper College and a Bachelor of Arts in Business from Brescia University. While at Brescia, she was actively involved with Downtown Owensboro’s Main Street program, contributing to the Friday After 5 Concert Series and the Daviess County Farmers Market.

With more than 25 years of experience in Human Resources across hospitality, education, recruiting, and manufacturing, Naomi has spent her career helping people and supporting businesses.

Outside of work, she enjoys exploring cities across Kentucky and volunteering at community events such as the Owensboro Daviess County Christmas Parade, International Bar-B-Q Festival, and March of Dimes. She is also the owner of Resume Rx, a company she founded in 2014 to help people create strong resumes and prepare for interviews.

Naomi is passionate about helping people find fulfillment in their careers and enjoys working with businesses on HR needs, from recruitment advertising to candidate selection.
