Marcus Weathersby

Marcus brings over 20 years of experience helping businesses navigate growth, workforce challenges, and strategic partnerships. His career began in small business and financial services, where he supported hundreds of businesses through access to capital, technical assistance, and resources designed to help them succeed.

He later transitioned into workforce development leadership, serving as the first Apprenticeship Grant Manager for the Colorado Community College System and as Statewide Apprenticeship Manager for the Technical College System of Georgia. In these roles, he helped expand U.S. Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship Programs by building partnerships among employers, education providers, and public agencies.

Today, Marcus serves as a Registered Apprenticeship Consultant with the Colorado Apprenticeship Hub, where he works directly with employers to develop apprenticeship strategies that address real workforce needs. His approach is grounded in meeting businesses where they are – connecting workforce solutions to operational goals, talent needs, and long-term business success.
