Kortney Wobbe

Kortney Wobbe serves communities across southeastern Minnesota by connecting businesses with talent and individuals with meaningful career opportunities. Through her work in workforce development, she helps strengthen regional economies by aligning workforce strategies with the evolving needs of employers and job seekers.

In her role as a Dislocated Worker Programs and Outreach Director, Kortney oversees key workforce programs, including the Dislocated Worker and Incumbent Worker Training programs. She works closely with businesses to identify workforce challenges, develop customized training solutions, and navigate funding opportunities that support upskilling, retention, and long-term growth.

Kortney is passionate about building strong partnerships across workforce, education, and community organizations. Known for her collaborative and solutions-focused approach, she translates complex systems into practical strategies that improve outcomes and expand access to career pathways.
