Jason George

Jason George joined Lightcast (formerly Emsi) in November 2016. He specializes in workforce development and labor market data analysis.
Prior to joining Lightcast, Jason spent over 11 years as a workforce development professional, providing oversight, coordination, and technical assistance for business services. He also served as an Authorized ACT Job Profiler for seven years. As a dedicated workforce advocate, he has focused on connecting businesses with talented individuals and has volunteered with community-based organizations to help underserved populations secure and retain employment.
Before entering the workforce development field, Jason spent five years as an educator in the New Orleans Catholic School system, teaching 9th-grade science and mathematics.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He is a certified Lightcast user and a Certified Workforce Development Professional (CWDP)
