Ellen Sauter is the National Workforce Development Lead at Cara Collective, a nonprofit social enterprise that has connected more than 15,000 people to jobs since 1991. Over the past five years, she has partnered with nonprofit leaders nationwide through Cara’s Solutions Lab and affiliate network. She currently leads the Equitable Hiring Initiative and is helping launch Cara’s third affiliate in Wilmington, Delaware. A former Job Developer with direct service experience, Ellen holds an MSW from University of Chicago and co-developed The AdvoKit: A Toolkit to Create Strong Employer Partnerships and Push for Inclusive Change.
