Bio:

Alysha Albrecht serves as Communications Manager for the Workforce Intelligence Network of Southeast Michigan (WIN), where she leads strategic communications to elevate data-driven workforce initiatives. She develops press releases, newsletters, social media campaigns, and multi-platform content while bringing a creative and analytical approach to presenting labor market data. Alysha redesigned the WIN 2025 Annual Report, Labor Market Reports, Commuter Pattern Reports, and EV Jobs Academy Career Profiles to showcase careers in the EV and mobility sectors.

 At WIN, Alysha has managed communications for major initiatives, including the State of Michigan’s Inclusive Training Technology and Equity Network (MITTEN) region 9 with the Michigan High-Speed Internet Office and a $5.8 million U.S. Department of Labor Apprenticeship Building America grant. She spearheaded the redesign and relaunch of WIN’s websites, created the first Michigan Workforce Career and Resource Guide, and produces data-driven marketing campaigns highlighting workforce success stories. Her expertise extends to employer and media relations, high-profile press outreach, and photography services for events and professional headshots.

 Previously, Alysha worked as Communications Specialist for Van Buren Charter Township, where her work was published in outlets such as MLive, Detroit Free Press, and local TV stations. She also served as Training and Facility Coordinator for Ann Arbor’s Community Television Network (CTN), facilitating media literacy programs, supporting grant collaborations, and contributing to scholarly publications.

 Alysha holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Integrative Public Relations with a concentration in Media, Design, and Technology from Central Michigan University. She is also Executive Director of the Raptor Center of Southeast Michigan, where she rehabilitates birds of prey.
