NAWDP is proud to present the 2020 Virtual Academies. NAWDP will be releasing several Virtual Academies throughout the remainder of 2020, and each will focus on a different subject area. All Academies will include a self-paced curriculum that can be accessed at any time the Academy is open.
This program includes a suite of professional development courses created around the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals (NAWDP) four core defined areas of competency for Business and Employer Services, Each of the four modules provides a deep dive into the concepts, skills and best practices needed for successful Business Solutions practices.
At the completion of this training, attendees will have achieved proficiency in these concepts:
- How to work with employers appropriately to best meet their needs.
- How to partner with Economic Development entities in their areas to support workforce development, partnerships, and mutual success.
- How to cultivate an environment that supports the Workforce System and development of a talented pipeline.
At the end of the coursework, professionals who hold a Certified Workforce Development Professionals (CWDP) designation may receive a Business Services Endorsement at no extra charge. Those who do not have a CWDP may receive the Business Services Endorsement if they apply for and earn the CWDP within 12 months of completing the course.
All Dynamic Works courses contain quizzes and/or exams with passing score requirements to attain a Certificate of Completion.
The Academy will be kicked off by a live introductory webinar hosted by NAWDP and course presenters. Academy coursework can be accessed and completed at any time between October 12 and October 31. All coursework must be completed by October 31. Cost is $350 for members and $450 for non-members.
Registration closes Oct. 16, 2020.
