I also serve on various Boards in Michigan and can provide a wealth of board experience along with skill as a Parliamentarian on Roberts Rules of Order.
What is your vision for the workforce development profession?
To increase exposure about NAWDP to more organizations and how individual organizations can benefit from the resources that NAWDP offers.
Do you have a particular interest area or passion in workforce development?
More professional development for employees who work in Workforce organizations and more outreach on why Workforce organizations are needed. The ultimate goal is to assist customers to become more self-sufficient so they can be more productive citizens.
Why do you want to serve on the Board?
Seeking a challenging Board of Directors position which effectively utilizes my DHHS Service/ Workforce Experience to make a difference in providing effective customer service to the citizens in Michigan. Strong leader with over 30+ years of experience in Health and Human Services and employee management. Dynamic and motivated leader with a proven record of building relationships with employees across all levels and coaching individuals to success.

The biggest challenge is increasing exposure about NAWDP and how NAWDP can assist individual Workforce organizations on a local level.
