Recertification
Share |

To ensure that credential holders maintain their skills and expand their base of knowledge and expertise, the CWDP credential must be renewed every three (3) years.

Recertification applications must be submitted prior to the CWDP expiration date. NAWDP offers a thirty (30) day grace period for those needing additional time to complete their recertification paperwork.  However, CWDP certifications become inactive after that 30-day period.

If the CWDP credential holder has not been awarded recertification within one-year of its expiration date, the initial certification application process must be followed in order to renew the CWDP designation.

Applicants for recertification will be notified in writing of the results of their application within thirty (30) days. If denied recertification, the applicant will be given an opportunity to appeal the decision within thirty (30) days of notification. All appeals must be received in writing.

The Recertification application is not yet available for completion online.  However, you may download the application form here.  Once you have completed all the required fields, please scan it.  Then you can upload the PDF file and submit payment in the form of check, credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express), or Money Order. Checks should be made payable to NAWDP and mailed to:
