NAWDP is inviting experienced workforce professionals to share their knowledge and guidance by serving as a mentor in the New Professionals Cohort in Workforce Development, running January–December 2026. This year-long program supports early-career workforce professionals as they develop skills, build confidence, and expand their professional networks—and mentors play a key role in helping them succeed.
As a mentor, you will:
- Meet with your mentee for four (4) 30-minute sessions over the course of the cohort.
- Participate in a brief, 30-minute mentor training to align with program goals.
- Provide guidance, share insights, and encourage reflection and goal-setting.
- Help your mentee grow their confidence and professional network.
Mentoring requires just a few short sessions, but the impact lasts a lifetime—for both you and your mentee. You’ll gain fresh perspectives, strengthen your leadership skills, and expand your professional connections.
Applications are open to current NAWDP members and must be submitted by October 31, 2025.
