Henry Mack has been confirmed as the next Assistant Secretary of Labor for the Employment and Training Administration (ETA). The U.S. Senate confirmed Mack on December 18 with a 53-43 vote as part of S. Res. 532, one of 97 nominations approved that day.
Mack brings extensive experience in workforce development having previously served on CareerSource Florida’s state workforce board and as Chancellor of Florida’s Department of Education. His leadership spans higher education, career and technical education, adult education, registered apprenticeships, disability education and employment services, and statewide workforce and economic development initiatives.
