Lorenzo’s journey with the KEYS Program is a powerful testament to resilience, focus, and personal growth. Raised in an environment where poor choices were often the norm, Lorenzo was constantly surrounded by the pressure to take the wrong path. But despite the challenges of his upbringing, he made a bold and life-changing decision to pursue a better, legitimate future.
At the heart of Lorenzo’s motivation is his mother. Her sacrifices and unwavering support became the driving force behind his commitment to turn his life around—and one day, give her the opportunity to retire.
Lorenzo was introduced to the KEYS Program, where he immediately connected with the resources and support available. Through Career Readiness Workshops and personalized one-on-one coaching, he gained not only job-search skills but also the confidence to step into a professional role.
His hard work paid off. Lorenzo secured full-time employment as a Logistics Associate with EOS IT Management Solutions, where he is currently stationed on-site at Facebook Meta.
Never one to settle, Lorenzo is also pursuing two technical certifications—Network+ and Security+—attending training four evenings a week and all day Saturday. Balancing a demanding full-time job with intense training shows just how determined and focused he is.
Looking ahead, Lorenzo’s goals are big—and rooted in giving back. He dreams of becoming a network engineer in IT infrastructure and founding an IT Training Academy in his hometown of Pensacola, Florida, to help local youth gain access to opportunities in the tech industry.
