The healthcare industry faces a nationwide shortage of Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists, creating a pressing need for innovative workforce solutions. AdventHealth’s Crossbones CT program is stepping up to meet this challenge by offering a full-time, paid learning opportunity designed for technologists registered in X-ray, nuclear medicine, and radiation therapy to transition into CT roles.

This structured 12-week program provides participants with full-time pay while they focus entirely on developing their skills through didactic instruction, cutting-edge simulations, and hands-on clinical training. Upon successful completion and certification, graduates transition into CT Technologist roles with higher pay and industry-recognized credentials—all without tuition fees or after-hours commitments.

Since its launch less than a year ago, the Crossbones CT program has already trained 20 new CT Technologists in AdventHealth’s West Florida Division and is now expanding into East Florida and Texas to meet the growing demand.
