COVID-19 and the stay at home mandate changed how workforce development professionals interact with clients and each other due to stay-at-home-mandates. The millions of jobs lost, increased case management loads and spending hours helping clients make sense of our nation's current state has caused tremendous stress in the lives of workforce development professionals. Add doing all of this from home, and there is added trauma for professionals in workforce development.

This session will help to inspire workforce development professionals to focus on the good they are doing, assisting clients in securing work during one of the most challenging times in modern history. It is easy to forget about the need for self-motivation and self-care while serving others-but, it is challenging to motivate people-if you are not motivated. This session will help workforce development professionals nationally develop the internal motivation to serve clients with enthusiasm, during a challenging time in our history.

We will train workforce development professional to:

  • Create daily systems of self-motivation.
  • To analyze the impact on mindset on workforce development success.
  • To focus on “self-care.”
  • To overcome the stress of “Compassion Fatigue.”
  • To create daily routines if working from home that leads to more effective systems.

This high energy event will give professionals the necessary motivation to improve workplace and client success during a difficult time in USA history.
