Clients with barriers face numerous obstacles to getting employed, whether it’s their criminal history, lack of skills, lack of experience, low educational barriers or other factors, learn how to effectively prepare and place your clients for that rewarding job! From finding rewarding opportunities, engaging with employers, or matching and preparing your clients for the job, learn how to get them hired! We will cover basic job developing techniques, interviewing and client preparation to get results and get people to work!
Three (3) learning objectives participants could expect from attending your workshop:
Participants will come away with knowledge on either how to better serve reentry clients and develop effective partnerships with community organizations/employers. We will cover the main criminogenic needs individuals have with an emphasis on employment and how to best identify available opportunities and prepare an individual to qualify for these opportunities. This includes employment readiness, experience and skills gaps. Attendees will also learn techniques from proven models on how to access and leverage available resources for their clients.
