General
The Annual Conference attracts workforce development professionals from across the nation and many U.S. territories and Canada. Attendees range from emerging talents to seasoned leaders across all sectors and workforce programs.
Yes, this year’s Annual Conference has a virtual registration option. Virtual attendees get access to the same great content as in-person attendees. If you want to attend virtually, select the virtual option under registration on the event webpage.
Attendees will have access to session recordings for 60 days after the recordings become available. Attendees are notified by email when the recordings are ready to view, typically within 10 days of the event’s conclusion. The breakout session recordings are pre-recorded by speakers before the conference while general session recordings will reflect the session presented at the conference.
In-person attendees can access conference materials made available to NAWDP by the presenter(s) in the Whova app under the session through the Agenda tab. Materials are downloadable from the app and you can access these materials in the Whova app for 60 days after the event.
Virtual attendees can access conference materials and handouts in the virtual platform under each session.
NAWDP does not distribute a conference attendee directory. In-person attendees can, however, view the attendee list in the Whova app once it has been released.

NAWDP does not track attendee participation therefore we are unable to issue a certificate of attendance or participation.
NAWDP does not track attendee participation therefore we are unable to issue continuing education credits. For NAWDP’s Certified Workforce Development Professional (CWDP) credential, all workshops are rated with competencies and each workshop counts as one hour. CWDPs will list the specific workshops attended on the CWDP recertification application and count each of them as one hour when you are completing your recertification application.
NAWDP utilizes the Whova app for our in-person events. In-person attendees can connect through the app approximately one week before the event’s start, during the event, and 60 days after the event.
The 2026 Annual Conference will be held May 18-20, 2026 in Phoenix, AZ.

NAWDP shares name and email information with select conference sponsor organizations only if you have opted into communication on your registration form. In addition, we may use video and/or photography of all conference functions and attendees for conference marketing purposes.
Virtual attendees will receive access information to the virtual platform the Wednesday before the conference start date along with a reminder on the conference start date. Access information will be sent to the virtual attendee via the email the attendee was registered with.

Session descriptions for the 41st Annual Conference are expected to be released March 2025. Once released, you can find the link to the full schedule on the event webpage.
Registration
Early bird registration for the 41st Annual Conference is open from January 8-February 12, 2025. Standard registration is open from February 13 – April 23, 2025. You can register on the Annual Conference webpage.
NAWDP Member (paid Individual, Group, or Lifetime memberships) registration is $625* until February 12, when the prices will increase to $725* for stahdard registration, and NAWDP non-member registration is $750 until February 12, when the price will increase to $850 for standard registration. NAWDP members receive a $ 125 discount off the registration price. *NAWDP Members must be signed in to receive the member discount.
No, there are currently no single-day registration options.
Registration closes on April 23, 2025.
NAWDP does not accept on-site registrations for our conferences.
Individuals may send another person in their place. Additional fees will apply if transferring from a NAWDP member to non-member. To make a substitution, contact Grace Schierling at grace@nawdp.org. Substitutions must be received by April 23, 2025.
Cancellations must be received by email only: grace@nawdp.org no later than April 23, 2025 to qualify for a refund, a $125.00 cancellation fee will apply. There will be absolutely no refunds for cancellations after April 23, 2025. Individuals who have not canceled by that date may send another person in their place. Individuals who have registered for the conference and don’t show to the conference are still liable for the registration fee. You can transfer to the virtual attendance option at any time at no charge.

Onsite Information
Business Casual Attire
No. Workshop session seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you have a session that is important for you to attend, show up early to make sure you have a seat. Please note that adding a session to your personal agenda in the Whova app does not reserve your seat in a session.
Please check in at the conference registration desk if you need assistance or if you have a lost item. If the lost item has not been turned in at the conference registration desk, please check with hotel registration.
NAWDP does not provide transportation to and from the hotel. Check with your hotel to see if this is an option they provide. You can find additional transportation options in the Whova app once it is released (approximately 1 week before the event kick-off).
Event App (In Person Attendees Only)
Yes, NAWDP uses the Whova app to share information with in-person attendees about the event. In-person attendees can find the full agenda, logistical information, sponsor and exhibitor information, discussion topics, and more.
In-person attendees can download the Whova app from the Apple Store or Google Play. Access information will be sent to in-person attendees by email approximately one week before the start of the event.
NAWDP is happy to help! Most times the email used for your conference registration does not match the email you are using to try to access Whova. If you are an in-person attendee and you have issues downloading the app, drop by the registration desk or email Amanda Grigsby at amanda@nawdp.org.
