Resources for Working with Older Adult Job Seekers
Founded in 2004, Older Adults Technology Services (OATS) from AARP is a social impact organization with a mission to “harness the power of technology to change the way we age.” Through its Senior Planet from AARP programs, OATS offers free virtual and in-person classes on a wide range of tech and digital tools, from the basics of using email to using AI apps. In this presentation, the OATS Education team will go over best practices for working with older adults who are new to technology and share numerous resources to help older adults build tech skills necessary for today’s workforce. We’ll also give an overview of Senior Planet Licensing, which equips community-based organizations to teach technology to older adults.
