Executive Committee
The Executive Committee leads the Board and provides direction for the association’s overall operations. Comprised of Board officers, this committee ensures that NAWDP remains mission-focused, responsive, and forward-moving.
Finance Committee
Committee Chair: Vickie Simmons
The Finance Committee safeguards NAWDP’s financial health through transparent and responsible stewardship. Chaired by the Board Treasurer, the committee reviews financial statements, oversees internal controls, and ensures compliance with audit requirements. Its work supports informed decision-making and long-term sustainability for the organization.

Governance Committee
Committee Chair: Heather Wade
The Governance Committee ensures NAWDP operates with integrity, transparency, and effectiveness. It leads the continuous improvement of the association’s policies, practices, and governance structures to support long-term success. This includes regular policy reviews and active support of Board development.

Certification Committee
Committee Chair: Michele Ginder
The Certified Workforce Development Professional (CWDP) Committee is provides strategic guidance, oversight, and competency subject matter expertise to ensure the integrity, relevance, and continuous improvement of NAWDP’s CWDP certification program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide recommendations on the CWDP certification and recertification processes.
- Review and recommend updates to the CWDP competency framework.
- Review data and feedback related to the CWDP program and advise on opportunities for enhancement.
