Teaching Career Entrepreneurialism in the New Economy
Join us on January 18, 2012 at 3:00-4:15 PM EST
for this exciting webinar!
You have seen him provide his unique commentary on Live with Regis and Kelly, Fox & Friends, The Better Show, Fox News, and CNN to mention a few. Now YOU can interact with Dr. Woody as he discusses how we can help clients take a more entrepreneurial approach to their careers in the new economy.
Dr. Woody will provide a simple 5-step model for teaching college students, recent graduates, and workforce veterans alike how to be introspective when considering their career path, as well as help them think more like an entrepreneur when embarking on it.
It involves asking five questions:
What are my Values?
What are my Intrinsics?
What are my Passions?
What is my Essence (personal brand)?
What is my Roadmap?
Dr. Woody believes going through the VIPER process he has developed will lead to a fruitful job search and a greater chance for career satisfaction. These questions are based on his book and are designed to instill personal accountability and proactive planning in the job seeker.
He'll describe in detail how career development professionals can elicit answers and help their audiences formulate a clear roadmap to put their career search in concrete terms.
Participants will:
-
Have a process for helping job seekers: step back and think more introspectively
-
Harness their essence to create a meaningful personal brand
-
Develop a roadmap for finding their career path
