FAQS
- Where may I find the CWDP recertification package? The CWDP recertification package, including the professional development log and Code of Professional Ethics is online and may be downloaded HERE.
- How much is the recertification fee? The fee is $50 for the CWDP and $25 for each endorsement. If your recertification materials are more than one month late - you must add in a late fee of $25.
- Don’t have enough professional development hours? Check out some of the online training offered by NAWDP to help supplement your professional development log.
- Is this the same thing as my NAWDP membership? No, the CWDP is a credential – not a membership.
- Where can I find my Personal Information Update Sheet? Your recertification notice and Personal Information Update sheet are mailed to you approximately 6 weeks before your credential is due to expire. If you don’t want to wait for it to arrive and you are a NAWDP member, you can simply download your personal profile on our website and include that instead.
- I've let my certification lapse, what are my options for recertifying? If you renew before your credential has been expired for one year, you simply complete the regular Recertification Package and pay a $25 late fee. If your certification lapses for more than one year, you must completely reapply for the initial certification.
